ARRIVING TO MÉRIDA

la-historia-del-paseo-montejo.jpeg

Merida is the capital of the Mexican State of Yucatan, and the largest city in the region.  Nestled in the middle of the Mayan territory, the city is full of life, color, and culture. Here, you will find exquisite gastronomy- unique to this region-  markets, museums, and colonial plazas, all centrally located  near cenotes, Mayan cities & ruins, haciendas, and beaches. The Peninsula is home to one of the new seven wonders of the world, Chichen Itza.

 Arriving at the Merida airport

it’s important that you get a taxi at the counters inside the airport that will get you straight to your hotel.  Please note that Ubers are not allowed to go into the airport. The taxi fare can range from $350 to $500 mexican pesos ( approx. $19 - $27 US dollars) depending on your destination.

You can also rent a car, we recommend AVIS and EUROPCAR

WEDDING DAY TRANSPORTATION

Transportation will be provided from the recommended hotels to the church and reception venue the day of the wedding.
